I found that I can probably clone my hard drive onto the SSD if I just move the Steam directory. I started that process yesterday afternoon thinking it would finish in an hour or two. Nope. I came from work today expecting it to be completed. Nope. Either my external drive is really crappy or I didn’t get it plugged into a USB3 port because this is taking waaaay too long. And once this is done I still have the cloning process to do, but with an SSD I would expect that moving 400 GB will take much less time (famous last words...)

all those little small files take forever to copy, especially from hard drives
